    How to understand which hardware causes Windows to not work properly?


    I have been having this problem several times, when trying to work on Photoshop. In the section View Reliability History is showing that some hardware problem causes Windows to not work properly. Here is the information that is showing up there:

    Thank you for the information.

    We suggest that you try to run Hardware and Device troubleshooter using the steps below:

    • Write Troubleshooting in the search box and hit enter.
    • Select the Hardware and Device options from the list.
    • Click Run the troubleshooter.
    We also suggest that you update the keyboard driver and check if it work.

    Hi Eric,

    We understand the issue you are facing and will assist you.

    Error: This hardware device is not connected to the computer (Code 45) will occur if hardware device is not properly connected to the computer. The only solution is reconnecting the device (web camera) to the respective port.

    I suggest you to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter by following the steps provided below:

    • Type “Troubleshooting” in the search bar and press Enter.
    • Click on “Hardware and Devices”.
    • A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and your hardware troubleshooting will start.

    I suggest you to perform the below given steps and check if it helps:

    Method 1: This issue may happen due to system file corruption. I suggest you to run System file checker. System File checker (SFC) scan is done to check if there are any corrupted system files that could be causing this issue. Kindly
    follow the below given steps:

    • Press Windows key + X, select
      Command prompt (Admin)
      to bring up elevated Command prompt.
    • In Command prompt type sfc/scannow and press enter.
    • Restart the computer.
    Method 2: If no corrupted system files were found in the previous state, then I suggest you to try the following steps:

    • Open command prompt by pressing Windows key + X and selecting “Command prompt admin”.
    • In command prompt, type the following commands and press Enter after each command:
    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    • Close the command prompt and restart the PC and check if it works.
