    how to uninstall security update KB5016616


    Hello.. i would like to unstall security update kb5016616 - This is what I have tried Uninstall from control panel.. and get his .. an error has occured. not all of the updates were successfuly unstalled. Looked at the updates via powershell and see the update by the intersting thing is it says the installed by is my compter name instead of nt authority\systemAny help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi John DeV,

    I've went through those steps and I still have the same error, even with the standalone KB5016616 from Microsoft Update Catalog that you provided.

    Any other idea?

    update KB5016616 and KB5015730 broke my sound/speakers

    After updating my windows recently I noticed that the sound stopped working completely. I've tried to uninstall them both, but when I uninstall KB5016616, a new security update is installed immediately after called KB5014699 even though I've paused updates.

    I've attempted to remove KB5014699 after it was installed but "windows update an error has occurred. not all of the updates were successfully uninstalled" appears. What do I do?

    How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

    I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

    Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

    Any suggestions? *Confused how to uninstall security update KB5016616 :confused:
