Windows 10: How To Use Earphone as Both Input and Output of Audio in Windows 10?

Hi, I recently just got myself an earphone and would like to think how I could use it to its fullest potential

This earphone I got has a 3.5 mm jack plug, and it has mic on the cable too, I was wondering how I could activate the mic and the speaker at the same time, since.. Windows 10 I think only recognize devices as 1 way only input or output for its 3.5 mm jack port as shown at the picture




Perhaps any of you guys has any way around this problem? i was thinking of getting a converter, 3.5 mm jack into USB 2.0 since Windows 10 would actually read mic and speaker at the same time using USB 2.0 e.g. Gaming Headset

Side Note :
- I've tried the "Headphone" option and it sure did read my earphone, but only as speaker i.e. Audio Output, this is why I would like to know whether I could use my earphone as both the Audio Input and Audio Output

No audio input or output devices found

After the last update of Windows 10, no audio devices are listed

Searching in the device manager: all audio devices say it works fine

The sound setting says: no output or input devices were found.

 

How do I Output two Audio Inputs into ONE Output?

that entire post either needs to be rephrased or you have to post photos to support what you are trying to achieve , i found it difficult to visualize the situation using provided text but maybe that is just me . but based on the header i suggest you take a look at something like this or similar that might solve your problem :




also try to update your sound driver because you seem to be on windows default , also you might want to enable the "Listen to this device" from recording devices properties for "line in"

 

No Audio Input or Output Devices found

After latest windows 10 update no audio devices are listed/

Looking in device manager - the audio devices all say working OK

But on bar at bottem of screen get speaker with red cross -- Playing audio - Audio trouble shouter cannot find any problems ..

Sound settings say - No output or Input devices found.

Have tried to re-install Realtek audio drivers for motherboard -- installed but no change
