Windows 10: How to use the Asus MB168B as only monitor with Windows 10

I want to use the portable monitor Asus MB168B as the only monitor but everytime I switch off the main monitor, I only see my desktop and the task menue but not the apps that are opened on the Asus MB168B. When I leave the main monitor on stand-by, all apps and programmes are visible.I have tried all options under settings for screen options Asus as main screen, Asus as extended screen and so on, but the result is always the same.The driver is updated. Asus helpdesk said that I need to re-install the operating system, but what would that help? It will be the same as before.Anyone out there w

ASAUS MB168b+ monitor not found with Windows 10

I have just bought a new Windows 10 64 bit computer. My existing ASUS 168B+ portable monitor powered up when connected but is not recognised by the Intel UHD Graphics control panel and will only duplicate the display on the main monitor, it will not extend
it.

How to fix?

To set up the dual monitor, I suggest you to follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + P.
• Select the required option.

Also, suggest you to update the Display adapter driver by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R and type “devmgmt.msc” and press Enter.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update driver software.
