How to verify an email address in your Microsoft account

When you sign up for a Microsoft account or add an email address to your account, we automatically send a request to that email for you to verify that we have the right address. To finish the process, just follow the verification link in the email. If you need a new verification email:

1. Sign in to Manage how you sign in to Microsoft. - check

1. A Verify button will be next to any unverified aliases. - check

1. Click Verify next to your email address, and then click Send email. - check, check … … !!!! and here is the Problem, I dont get that email.
   
   tried it from the normal Windows Settings/Options sceen, online with different Browsers - i dont get it. (not experienced with pc's and win)
   
   - And sorry but I wasnt sure which Topic is the correct: Settings or Licensing n activation

Verifying email address

On upgrading to Windows 10 my primary email address would not work in Mail. I therefore changed the primary address to my secondary alias in Microsoft account and deleted what was my primary email address. I then added my old primary email address to Microsoft
account in an attempt to reinstall it. I have gone through the verify email address process on a number of occasions but it will not verify the account. What must I do?

• When you say that "verify my account", are you trying to verify old live mail address on the computer? Are you trying to verify the device in the user account settings of Windows 10?
• When you say that "I sign in to my Microsoft account with my outlook.com e mail and password", are you signed in as Outlook.com account or Live mail address on the computer? Which account is configured as user account on the computer?
