  1. How to view ghost files in Windows Explorer? [Please Read Text/Body]

So, I was cleaning up my Document Folder today and found a folder with over 5000 files. I assumed it may have been another web dev folder with "node_modules" but instead the folder contained just 6 PDFs. I always have hidden files visible, but none were shown. When I unhid system files, I found a $RECYCLE.BIN folder. But the sole symbolic link in this folder redirects to my empty system RECYCLE BIN and doesn't show me the actual files in the directory. I might have copied it over from the root of another Windows Drive long ago.

I would like to know how to view the files inside the folder.

    Thank you.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
