Windows 10: How to view microsoft account on bitlocker recovery screen?

Hello, Im here to ask how do I find out what microsoft account is linked to a device in bitlocker recovery mode. I need to recover it for important files linked to my family and people I know, I dont know how to see the microsoft account linked to this device and I do not know what microsoft account is linked to the device. Is there a way to view this? I have a laptop that is linked to some microsoft account that needs recovering I dont want to take it to a repair shop if there is a way to see the account email. I really need to know this so I can keep using it.

Hi Rick,

Please follow the suggestions below and check if you are able to boot to your desktop.

• Places to look for your BitLocker key:
  • On a printout you saved. Look in places you keep important papers.
    
  • Saved on a USB flash drive. Plug the USB flash drive into your locked PC and follow the instructions. If you saved the key as a text file on the flash drive, use a different computer to read the text file.
  • In your Microsoft account. To get your recovery key, go to
    BitLocker Recovery Keys.

• Or ask someone for help:
  • Ask someone with administrator privileges on the same PC to unlock it with their key.
  • If your PC is connected to a domain (usually a work or school computer), ask a system administrator for your recovery key

3. Are you not able to login to your Microsoft Account to find the BitLocker Recovery Key?
4. Are you using Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Professional?

Meanwhile, try finding BitLocker Recovery Key if you have ever setup BitLocker Recovery Key for your computer.

Hi. Trying to solve Bitlocker Recovery Key problem caused by KB5012170

I did not enable Bitlocker, but this update has caused this issue

I cannot remember , what account I used to setup the computer.

On the Screen , it is giving me a Recovery ID Key

And a Drive Label

My assumption is that this information must be stored somewhere on Microsoft's site

Anybody got any idea who I can contact to help with this
