    I had a driver problem that was not solveable. So i attempted to reset windows. It did not complete. Then i was stuck in a boot loop. I tried reinstalling from USB. Same thing. Will not boot. It circles around for 5 minutes then blue screens with “driver PNP watchdog”. Tried remaking the usb 3 times with different drives. Disabled secure boot and enabled/disabled legacy boot. No effect. Is the pc done for? Im suspecting either the latest windows version is unusable, or something is wrong with the motherboard. I have no access to another PC, so i had to use someone else’s. I have tried everything possible and nothing is getting me anywhere. This PC isnt even a month old and Its already a boat anchor. UPDATE: I was able to successfully instalk and run Windows 8, but attempting to install 10 even through windows 8 failed to install with the same bsod error. Error screen displayed on next boot in 8 said “0xc1900101-0x20017

    the installation failed in the SAFE_OS Phase with an error during BOOT operation.”

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    I decided to take the plunge and upgrade to windows 10 from 7. I used the Media Creation Tool from MS website. It took awhile, but I am finally running Windows 10 (12-14).

    I opened the new App & Program feature to remove programs that I no longer needed. Scrolling down the list, I was horrified! Apps that I didn't install somehow magically installed themselves. Two programs stood out: Facebook and Candy Crush Soda Saga. Both programs have those tale-tale icons that they came from Windows Store (which I've never even opened). The install date for both of them were on 12-26.

    Is this a common thing for Windows 10? Or is it because I did an upgrade and not a clean install?
