Windows 10: HP 6500 Officejet will print but not scan

Discus and support HP 6500 Officejet will print but not scan in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer due to the fact that it would print but not scan.     HP 6500 Officejet will print but not scan


    I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer due to the fact that it would print but not scan.

    I can now print again but do not have the Device Manager to test scanning

    Windows 10 HP Officejet Pro 8620 Will not print


    Thank you for posting this. I tried all the listed steps and still not able to print EXCEPT when I ran the HP Print and Scan Doctor; at the conclusion of the scan, the app prompts me to print a test page from within the Scan Doctor and it is successful. I recall the 8620 being able to do this as well, however.

    HP Officejet 6500 E709A will not work in windows 10

    I recently had computer problems and a new install of Windows 10 was put on my Inspiron 15, 3000 series. Since bringing it home and installing HP software on it my HP Officejet 6500 E709A will not print. Using the HP solutions center it shows my printer
    is installed properly and will even print out a test page, but when I try to print - nothing and nothing show up in the que. Suggestions?

    windows 10 not communicating with HP Officejet 6500

    ASUS / windows 10 not communicating with HP Officejet 6500. Unable print since upgrade to windows 10, the only thing that changed. Please advise options. Not very technical need layman's terms, please.
