    HP DeskJet 2700e will not scan from printer .


    Print and Scan doctor says I am missing HP scan application software on my windows 10. Any ideas on how to fix it?

    I realize your concern. Let me help you with this issue.

    I suggest you to run Printer troubleshooter. Follow the steps.

    • Type Troubleshooter in the search box and then press enter.
    • In the left pane click on View all.
    • Select the Printer option and follow the on screen instructions.

    Also, suggest you to refer the below link, and check if it helps.

    Unable to Scan through HP Deskjet 3830 printer after Windows updates

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



    I understand that you are facing issues while using Scanner on your PC. For further clarity on the issue, please respond to the questions below.



    1. Which updates were installed recently?
    2. Which build version of Windows 10 are you using currently?
    3. How did you uninstall and re-install the printer?
    4. Which program are you using to scan?


    To check the installed updates go to Settings >
    Updates & Security     > Windows updates > View installed update history.



    Refer the article Which version of Windows operating system am I running?



    Meanwhile, I would suggest you to try running the
    HP Print and Scan doctor     to resolve scanning issues and see if you are able to scan using the Printer.



    I would also suggest you to install the HP DeskJet 3830 series Full Feature Software and Drivers from

    HP website    .

    I'd be glad to help you.

    I would suggest you to refer to the manufacturer’s website and check, for the HP hardware diagnostic tool for the
    HP Deskjet 4625 Printer and check, if it helps.

    Also, try to update, uninstall and reinstall the latest scan and copy drivers in the Device Manager from the manufacturer’s website link, mentioned below and check, if it works.
