    I realize your concern. Let me help you with this issue.

    I suggest you to run Printer troubleshooter. Follow the steps.

    • Type Troubleshooter in the search box and then press enter.
    • In the left pane click on View all.
    • Select the Printer option and follow the on screen instructions.

    Hi try this link looks like you may have to download windows 8 or 8.1 drivers

    Let us know how you get on I too have an hp printer did yours come with disc to help set it up if so you will need to use that as well
