Windows 10: HP Desktop F340 prints but won't scan

Running Windows 11. It recognizes my printer printing fine but also says "drivers unavailable" and Microsoft Fax and Scan doesn't recognize it. Using the scan button on the printer also doesn't work. Windows 10 did recognize all the printer's functions including scanning.I checked with HP and they said they should be available not available for download from them directly.Yes I know this printer is stone age compared to printers now but I don't have the money for a new printer/scanner currently unemployed. I know my smartphone can scan documents but really don't want to have to do it tha

Windows 10 HP Officejet Pro 8620 Will not print


Thank you for posting this. I tried all the listed steps and still not able to print EXCEPT when I ran the HP Print and Scan Doctor; at the conclusion of the scan, the app prompts me to print a test page from within the Scan Doctor and it is successful. I recall the 8620 being able to do this as well, however.
