Windows 10: HP Envy 17 Laptop Cannot Use Onboard Microphone in Any Apps, Only Edge.

We are managing an HP Envy 17 laptop for a client. All has been going well until a Windows update some time in August. I'm unable to rollback as we're not entirely sure which update caused this issue.The issue is that the onboard microphone will not work with third party applications such as Teams and Zoom. I've checked the privacy settings and all is ok. The strange thing is, the onboard microphone works perfectly in Microsoft Edge, so the workaround here is to run each of these apps in the failover browser mode. This leads me to believe it is a software fault and not a hardware one.Drivers h

I've just bought HP envy 17 30 3090NR.

suggest me best app for this laptop..

1. best codec

2. best movie player for 3d as well as 2d pictures

3. best antivirus (norton is installed by default rightnow - shd i keep it or uninstall and buy new one)

4. any other suggestions.. ms office 2007/10/other??

5. shd i keep power plugged in always or use only on battery? when i'm using laptop, if i keep plugged in all the time, will it harm/overcharging? i just wanna ask how to maintain battery life..

6. shd i keep windows update on and update regularly?

7. any accesory i must buy? like cover or any other thing?

I've bought hp envy 17 3090NR.

anyone plz link here some good 3d video clips to demonstrate 3d in my laptop..not whole movie..just 5-20min video clips will be fine..

 

Power on problem with my HP ENVY 17-3090NR 3D

There is nothing normal about this problem no customer should have to do that just to get their laptop to work, HP is just trying to cover up a problem.
