    How do you get HP Envy 4512 to scan?

    The printer is a scanner, copier, printer all in one. It is an HP Envy 4512, but it will not scan. When you test it from settings on computer, it says it is working fine. When you try to scan though, it says "The scan could no be completed. Make sure that
    the scanning software has been installed and configured on your computer, and then try again" It has been done already and still nothing. Any help?

    Scanning on an HP ENVY 4512 printer

    I downloaded and installed the full 'recommended' printer software for the HP ENVY 4510 series printer and tried to scan, and am told to 'Open the HP Printer Software and select 'Scanner Actions' and then select 'Manage Scan to Computer'. How do I open
    the HP Printer software?
