Windows 10: HP Envy 5034 Printer not working

Since my last Windows 10 update this month my printer all of a sudden will not print from the computer or just copy. It just comes out blank. I have run the troubleshooter, HP Smart and HP printing and scan doctor and they all say there is no problem. Really got me beat. Anyone else had this problem and can help. Thanks. Sue

Please try the steps recommended below to uninstall printer software

Press Windows key + X, click Apps & Features or Programs and Features

Select your HP printer.

Select Uninstall.

Press Windows key + R, type control printers

Hit Enter

In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”

Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.

Type printui.exe /s and click OK.

Click on Drivers tab.

Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.

Select OK.

Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.

Close Devices and Printers.

Proceed to reinstall the driver.

Download and install the full feature Software for the printer from here:

While there make sure it also has the latest firmware.

Follow the on-screen prompts for install including setting up the Fax which should then work correctly without an app which are not as reliable.

Some tips:

  When trying to scan from a computer, what is displayed on the printer?
  

• 
  Try making a copy of something from the printer itself. If that doesn't work, then the problem is with the printer itself. Contact HP Support for that. However, if it works, then it is a software issue.
  

• 
  Does the support guide for your printer have any instructions on resetting the printer, such as unplugging it?
