Windows 10: HP Envy 5034 will not connect to my laptop

Have posted this problem before with the Microsoft community who have been so helpful. After Windows 10 did a R efresh update my HP Envy became an app and the printer details showed the connect and driver faded out. Charley in particular tried to help me but had to contact HP support in the end (Microsoft support much better. HP agent support told me to cancel printer and driver and gave me the update to download for the printer. Did that. Wireless light has stopped blinking on printer which it was doing but my laptop and HP Scan and print will not recognise that I have a printer, when I add a printer and put IP or host address in it will not recognise it Advised same HP agent who finally got back to me after numerous requests and gave me a link. It said to check the firewall and disable it. When I go into Firewall it said HP envy printer private and public are ticked. Should I still disable it. Second question they said to cancel the download I did (will be in programs and do the new download. I don't know where to look in programs, there seems to be one for HP Envy. Hope this is not too confusing and that someone can help. Always have been helped in the past but this got me beat. If I go into troubleshooter it tells me the problem could be that I have the Windows S update and in that case they are still working on it and if I need it to have Windows 10 proloque I think. HP Envy Laptop Battery not charging after Windows 10 installation

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Communities.

I suggest you to un-install and re-install battery drivers from Device manager and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Device Manager.
• Expand Batteries and right click on Batteries ACPI and click on Un-install.
• Restart the computer and check.

If the issue persist, I suggest you to visit HP Envy website and check whether HP has released any firmware updates for Windows 10. If so, please go ahead and install them and check with the issue.

HP Envy 5034 wireless printer

Please try the steps recommended below to uninstall printer software

Press Windows key + X, click Apps & Features or Programs and Features

Select your HP printer.

Select Uninstall.

Press Windows key + R, type control printers

Hit Enter

In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”

Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.

Type printui.exe /s and click OK.

Click on Drivers tab.

Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.

Select OK.

Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.

Close Devices and Printers.

Proceed to reinstall the driver.
