    HP JetDirect 175x issues in Windows 10 x86 & x64


    Hi,

    I have a LaserJet 1022 and an Officejet 5610, which both work fine while directly connected to my Windows 10 PCs via USB.

    Due to the Coronavirus lockdown in the UK, both my wife and I need to work from home and have the ability to print & scan.


    I have connected the LaserJet and Officejet to individual JetDirect 175x USB print servers.

    A quick IP scan of my home network shows the JetDirect units, and connecting to the web server for each device correctly shows the LaserJet or Officejet respectively connected, online and active.


    I have created a new basic TCP/IP port in the printer settings that points to the IP address of the relevant JetDirect unit, and the printer shows as online within Windows 10.


    The issue that I'm having is that when you send a document to either printer, it prints successfully, but says that it has failed, and therefore doesn't delete the job from the print queue. This then causes Windows 10 to continuously re-print the same document as each time, it gets the error message.


    It is becoming really frustrating as I can't see anything obvious that will resolve the issue.


    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

    Are you facing this issue in Local Account or Microsoft Account?

    What steps of the installation the issue appear? after selecting the device? at the beginning of the setup? etc.

    I suggest you to download the drive again from HP website and try installing it.

    HP Jetdirect en3700 Fast Ethernet Print Server.
