HOW TO UPDATE THE BUILT=IN MONITOR DRIVER ON LABTOP, AND REFRESH RATE CHANGE

Activate old mouse to hp labtop

I purchase a hp labtop two years age and I still have my old mouse that is a logitech and is wounding if I can reactivated the mouse to this labtop. Please give me a respond asap.

 

HP 2009m monitor is not supported in Windows 10

To be able to understand the issue better, provide us a few more details on the below questions.

• What is the exact error message you receive in this scenario? Does the error message read as monitor not supported or the display/resolution not supported to be precise?
• What is the make and model of the computer you are using?
• Did you check if the display model HP 2009m is compatible to run with Windows 10? Also, if has any latest drivers available?
• Did you try to connect a different monitor to check if the issue still persists?

Now, I suggest you to check if rolling back/updating the video driver helps to resolve the issue. Follow the below steps.

• First of all, Press Windows logo + R from keyboard. It will open
  RUN.
• Now type devmgmt.msc and press Enter to open Device Manager.
• You will see all the driver list of your PC. Expand Display Adapters

Update driver

Double click on your video driver in Device Manager. Then Click on
Driver tab and select Update.

Rollback driver

Double click on your video driver in Device Manager. Then Click on
Driver tab and select Rollback.

Important: If your drive is performing well and there is no error, Rollback driver button will be grayed out as an option.

Note: Try the same steps to update and rollback drivers for Monitors
in the driver list of your PC.

Monitor Drivers for HP 2509b

Nope. Didn't work at all.

I tried all of your suggestions and nothing worked.

Device Manager won't let me override the installed Display driver with the correct HP driver. It keeps saying the the correct driver is already installed.

I tried going thru Troubleshooting Compatibility but that didn't work either.

Do I need to delete the Generic MS display driver before attempting to install the HP driver? Won't that just kill my monitor completely?

Please help.
