    HP laptop running windows 10 keeps showing blue screen of death for no apparent reason.


    Hp laptop running windows 10 keeps showing blue screen of death for no apparent reason. After the blue screen of death and it collects the error information, it shows a page titled, "please install boot device on your hard drive", I did one of the checks the page suggested the first few times this happened and it stated, "no hard drive found, please install a hard drive, but it works perfectly fine after doing a forced shutdown, until this happens around the next 30 minutes or so.


    Details: in quotation marks

    HP laptop-"14-al104ne"

    Running-"Windows 10" will specify the version later

    Intel-"I5 7th generation"

    Hard drive-"1Terabyte HDD"

    Ram-"8 gigabytes ram"

    Laptop keeps booting to BIOS after blue screen of death

    I was loading a game on my computer, when I got a blue screen of death. My computer (laptop) keeps booting to the BIOS. The SSD is listed in the SATA-devices but it does not seem bootable.
    The hard drive is the first one selected in the boot order. I am running dual boot (Windows 10 - Ubuntu) on an MSI GE60 2QD. Is there anything I can do except reinstalling Windows?

    Windows 7 Blue Screen of Death!

    This is the first time i have ever got the blue screen, but it keeps on occurring, and so i cannot get onto that hard drive, it shuts down within a second of the blue screen showing itself, which doesnt give me any time to read it lol. So i am completely confused as there is no Path of: "C:\WINDOWS\Minidump" as well

    Thanks for the help, do you have any further suggestions ?

    I have an hp laptop that was compatible in the windows app to get windows 10. When windows was installing the laptop showed a blue screen of death and reset itself. Now is stuck in getting ready with the windows logo
