Windows 10: HP LaserJet 1160 Driver For Windows 10 Home 64bit Ver 1809 Not Available Anymore. Also HP's...

I have a desktop running Win 10 Pro 64bit Ver 1803 that I successfully installed my HP LJ 1160 manually using the Windows Update button (see pic) around 2018. I just got a new laptop (Win 10 Home 64bit Ver 1809) the other day and tried to install the same printer in the same manner as the desktop, but now it's not there anymore.









GiantoD60 on HP forum also noticed and same experience that they only have a DOT4 driver, but that's only for the USB driver part and not the full print driver set. I took this a step further and downloaded several of the most recent Microsoft Catalog drivers for my system (even Win 8/7):

All of them gave me this compatible error:









Can we get the full printer driver for Windows 10 64bit ver. 1809 (x64) please? Thank you.


P.S. Sorry for the off topic, but some what related issue in that the *** Email address is removed for privacy *** provided e-mail address from the https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Support.aspx is not working:

HP Laserjet 2100 and Windows 10 (1809)

Hello,

I think starting with 1803 the printer disappeared from the list of available printer drivers (even after pressing "use Windows Update"). So how can use my Laserjet with Windows 1809 ?

When searching for a printer driver on the HP website I get directed to something called HP Printer Administrator Resource Kit.

Does anyone know how to use this?

Than it should download all possible drivers from which you can choose. I already di that so can't show you further procedure but here it is on mine.

I did all that. After clicking Windows update (which took a while) I got a whole load of extra printers, but Laserjet 4 Plus was not one of them.
