Windows 10: HP Notebook Laptop/Windows 11 camera is not working

My HP laptop camera is not working black screen. Troubleshooting says the camera is working fine. I am not sure but suspect the camera has not been working since switching from Windows 10 to 11 a few months ago. I tried system restore points but none were available. Can anyone help?

nothing worked. there is no such driver as camera or imaging device but there was unknown driver option. i tried the suggestion on that but no use.

I see that your laptop’s battery is not charging. We would like to know, if you get a message stating plugged in not charging when hovering the mouse over the battery icon.



If you see the message plugged in not charging, I suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned below and see if that helps:

1. Press Windows Logo key + X, and select
   Device Manager.
   
2. Expand Battery.
   
3. Right click on Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery, and select
   Uninstall.
   
4. Click OK to confirm.
   
5. Restart the computer.
