    HP Pavilion dv6-3225dx Driver issue


    I have a DV6-3225DX Laptop..

    The manufacture does not make windows 10 Drivers for this unit.. I run Windows VLC and the Graphics are horrid.. I have to disable Video Acceleration but this reduces the quality a bit... I dont know why this is an issue.. I have the latest version of VLC and the latest Version of Windows 10 home premium.


    What in the world do I do? I have tried everything from re installing VLC and stuff..

    I cant even tell if I have the latest drivers..

    You may try installing the chipset driver in compatibility mode:

    Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

    • Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.
    • Right-click on the driver setup file and click on
      ‘properties’.
    • Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box
      ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists

    Are there updated HP drivers for the Pavilion dv6 when upgrading to Windows 10?

    I own a HP Pavilion dv6. I recently upgraded to Windows 10.

    the screen now is stretched. Does HP have drivers that can fix this problem?
