Windows 10: HP Pavilion dv6 with Switchable graphic card -

Hi all,

I have HP Pavilion dv6t CTO. Product: LF374AAR .
I have install Windows 10 Home. version: 1909.

with two GPU's:
GPU1: Intel HD 3000
GPU2: AMD Radeon HD 6770M/2GB DDR5.

The computer is working only with the Intel GPU.
but It cant "swap" to the AMD GPU. (I need it for Android Studio Emulator)
Its strange because it recognized in the device manger,
but not in the 'Graphics specifications'. (as you can see in the image)

I know that this issue is a bit chewed up, but I could use some help.

by now I tried to install leshcatlabs drivers 15.7 v1.2 and 14.4 - didnt work.
Also AMD driver from their site.

I know about FLEM - but looking a bit fishy..

Switchable graphic card drivers doesn't work

Hi,

I have HP Pavilion dv6-6b80ec (I was only owner)

GPU1: Intel HD 3000
GPU2: AMD Radeon HD 6770M/2GB DDR5
Access Denied

and recently I bought new SSD and installed it instead of CD-ROM, quick and easy swap, then I decided to install OS on the new SSD and then format the HDD.

Now I´m allready running from newly installed Win10. BUT the radeon GPU doesnt work, I cant "swap" to the AMD card to play games. I have tried to install many versions of Drivers, many versions of UnifL ( Downloads - leshcatlabs.net ) drivers, but nothing worked. Someone suggested it might be because HP drivers do not support Win10 but UnfiL drivers do. And I know for certain it is possible to have Win10 and working card becasue before I moved system to SSD I've had Win10 on HDD. And there is another ODD thing, sometimes after booting up Feature levels aren't showing and AMD card periodically gets load for 4% which I can see in AMD System Monitor but I cant launch games because of missing Levels. And if the levels show up GPU speeds are at 0MHz and 0% load. There is a switchable "button" in BIOS for GPU to run in FIXED or DYNAMIC mode but neither works.

Did I kill my GPU with adding SSD ?

Or is there a solution to this problem which I can't figgure out ?

If there is any need for more screenshots I will provide them ASAP.

 

Switchable graphic card

I have HP Pavilion g6 with Graphic card Radeon 7400M, Since i updated my windows to windows 10 i can't use my graphic card anymore, there is no option to switchable mode between graphic cards. It uses by default only the Intell 3000.

Please advise what to do in order to use my Radeon card, i tried all the options that are mentioned on the forums for drivers and uninstalling and installing newer drivers, restarting, deleting the Intel graphic card drivers and others with no hope.

Hopefully someone can help me with that.

Hello!

I have same family laptop - HP Pavilion dv6-6193ca with switchable graphics

Radeon HD 6490M + Intel HD.

Recently have made clean install WIN10 on my machine, which passed smoothly and fine.

But after that noticed problem with HD 6490M - the card recognized by Windows system as

HD 7400M Series and at start up each time black screen continues for about 1.5 minute or so,

thereafter system starts on Intel HD. Below is screenshot of device manager.

Have tried to find proper driver at AMD and HP - no results. So what to do?

I'm wondering, if the problem with driver for HD 6490M was resolved by MS support team or someone?
