Windows 10: HP PC stuck at 67%

I bought a new computer and have all of my old files on the new computer. I am going to give the old one to my Grandson. I started the reset at 1:00 pm yesterday. It is now 8:30 a.m. and the computer is still at 67%. I have no idea what to do. I do not have a USB flash drive. Can I turn the computer off?

Install stuck at 75%


i'm stuck at step 3 93% - configuring settings 67%. left it there for the third time last night and this morning it was still there. I have no idea whats causing this or how to fix it

Sorry to hear that you are still facing the issue.

If you are trying to boot the Windows 10 ISO file, you will need to change the boot menu to the installation media first while booting. To do this, follow the steps provided below:

• Connect the installation media you created to your PC, and then turn it on.
• On the initial setup screen, enter your language and other preferences, and then select
  Next. If you're not seeing the setup screen, your PC might not be set up to boot from a drive. Check your PC manufacturer's website for info on how to change your PC's boot order, and then try again.
• Select Repair your computer.
• On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot >
  Advanced options > Startup Settings >
  Restart.
• After your PC restarts, you'll see a list of options. Select 4 or F4 to start your PC in
  Safe Mode. Or if you'll need to use the Internet, select 5 or F5 for
  Safe Mode with Networking.

If you are able to boot to safe mode by following the steps, proceed with the steps suggested above.

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??
