Windows 10: HP Printer Officejet pro 8600 Plus and Microsoft Windows 10 Updates

Hello, My HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus printer appears influenced by Microsoft Windows 10 updates. A file requested to be printed following the printing of a previous item can sit in the printer queue for around 20 minutes or so whether deliberately deleted or otherwise. Further requests to print recreate a veritable log jam. A more computer literate family member quickly discovered that the HP driver I had installed had been replaced by a Microsoft variant, and after he removed it and then replaced it with the original HP driver all was well. HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus

We have just downloaded Windows 10 on our HP Pavilion g7 Notebook and have been unable to connect and print with our HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus.

My HP Officejet Pro 8600 printer/fax/scanner stopped working after last update. Now my HP Smart program is now missing that was used to access the printer for different functions.

 

Windows 10 will not install driver for HP Officejet Pro 8600 printer

I am having a problem running my HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus scanner on Windows 10. Everything else works except the scanner. Can someone help me solve this problem?
