    HP Printer won't print colors


    After upgrading to Windows 10 on my Dell laptop, my HP 4511 Envy printer will now not print in color. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the printer, downloaded the latest printer driver and checked all system and printer settings, to no avail. The printer worked fine on Windows XP Pro.....quite a dilemma.

    HP printer not printing in color

    I am using Windows 10 & HP printer, was printing in color as of late Oct. 2019 no longer prints in color. It does print in color using an IPAD or Phone. I implemented all the steps in the troubleshooter and it still will not print in color. The test
    page does print in color. HP advised this is a Windows problem Need Help please.

    Hi diannescheur,

    Maybe your printer was set to print black and white or grayscale, what program you're using that prints black and white? since you said it prints color on test page I think no problem with either your Drivers and the printer.

    Try these steps,

    1. click Start.

    2. search control panel > Devices and printers

    3. right click on your printer> printing preference

    4. in printing shortcuts tab in Color Options select Color on drop down

    HP Printer won't print colors

    hp officejet 4650 printer won't print color using windows 10.

    I cannot print in color on my windows 10 computer to my HP Officejet 4650 all-in-one printer. I ran test printouts on

    the printer itself and it prints in color. I checked my printer settings and color is the default. Yet, anything I print from my

    computer only prints in black and white. Any suggestions?
