    I have an HP Pavilion Product name 510-p017c
    Product num V8N85AA#ABA
    Motherboard 81B4
    BIOS AMI F-41
    Prosser Intel Core i5-6400 cpu @2.20GHz 2208 MHz 4 core
    Windows 10 Home 64bit Version 19042.685

    I am getting a big blue message on bootup advising CPU fan not operating properly: message number 90B
    I hit enter and it continues to bootup. when up and running, CPU fan will rev up and then slow to a stop every 15 or so seconds. CPU is not overheating. Running between mid 70s and low 80s F.
    I replaced the fan - No change. Flashed the BIOS (HP Suggestion) No change

    Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

    That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
    a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
    b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

    I suggest Option 1 is easier.

    If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

  3. Unable to access HP Simple Pass to Sign-in to the computer on Windows 10

    • Do let us know the make and model of your computer?
    • Have you installed HP simple pass software on your computer?

    Try the below steps and check if it helps.

    Step 1: I suggest you to download the latest HP Simple Pass software from the manufacturer's website install it and check if it helps.

    Step 2: If you have already installed the software, I suggest you to re-install it and check if the issue persists.

    Follow the steps to Access Recovery Manager:

    • Press Start button from the keyboard, type Recover Manager.
    • Select Recovery Manager from the list when it becomes available. Allow the action to continue, if prompted. The
      HP Recovery Manager opens.
    • Click Software program re-installation, Next , select
      HP SimplePass for the listing and then follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall application

    HP Connected Remote is an app that comes preinstalled on select Windows HP computers. I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it resolves this issue.

    • On the Windows 10 Start screen, type hp connected remote.
    • Click HP Connected Remote from the Apps search results.
    • Click Settings, and make sure Enable HP Connected Remote is turned On.
