    Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Version: 17763.316

    After the last Windows update (Feature update to Windows 10, version 1809) was installed, this unit's Ethernet connection has become software capped at 10 Mbps. Viewing the configuration at Settings/Network and Internet/Change Adapter Options/[right-click]Ethernet/Status/ - in the "General" tab @ "Speed" the adapter is set at 10 Mbps. This was not the case before the update.


    I've installed the latest OEM drivers from the manufacturer's website for both the chipset as well as the onboard Ethernet (Realtek PCIe Gigabit Ethernet Family) controller.

    My PC model is HP ProOne G1 400 Aio

    Shortly after posting my question i went on to settings and was able to go back to my previously installed version of windows. this fixed my in game flickering. i however would like to update my PC to the new Windows 10 update and still keep my current display
    driver because that's the only way my games function.

    the date on my current working driver is 12/16/2016

    my internet should be 200mbps and I only get 30 the rest of my family get the full speed but me and my brother don't so what is capping my speed is it my network adaptor inside my laptop my laptop is a HP 255
