    Hello.


    I have trouble for HP Smart app for Windows 10.

    all of the sudden, I've got error 0x800B0100 and it won't install the update.

    I have tried uninstalling. reinstalling doesn't work anymore because 0x800B0100.


    Searching on internet does not come up with definite solution.

    I did some WSreset, Clearing %temp%, Windows Update Troubleshooter, and turn off computer and turn on computer again.

    I gave up. (Asus ROG GL503GE)(Windows 10 Pro)(1803)

    I have no idea what is happening.

    any idea please?

    failed to install update Error code: (0x800b0100)

    I completed the suggested steps. It does not resolve the issue that i am facing. Windows defender is giving error code 0x800b0100. I cannot get into the store to complete those updates either. Windows update says the device is up to date.

    Any other suggestio s?

    I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store
