Windows 10: HP Smart Install Issue

I was trying to reinstall my printer HP LaserJet Pro1102 after windows 10 home activation however, when the USB is connected to the pc from the printer, the HP Smart Install wizard tells me that "An administrator has blocked you from running this app. For more information contact the administrator". Again the cd is not playing.

Kindly put me through to get my printer back into my pc.

This issue might be due to the compatibility reasons. So I suggest you install Hp media smart program or app in compatibility mode and check.

I want you install the hp smart menu from the link given below and then run the program in compatibility mode.

I suggest you perform a clean boot and try transferring the data
. Setting the system in a clean boot state will help to identify if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue.

HP Envy Laptop Battery not charging after Windows 10 installation

I suggest you to un-install and re-install battery drivers from Device manager and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Device Manager.
• Expand Batteries and right click on Batteries ACPI and click on Un-install.
• Restart the computer and check.

If the issue persist, I suggest you to visit HP Envy website and check whether HP has released any firmware updates for Windows 10. If so, please go ahead and install them and check with the issue.
