Windows 10: HP Spectre is not showing an image

I've only used this laptop a handful of times and just school work on canvas. It had an update about a week ago and now when I log in I only see a black screen with a functioning mouse pointer up and touch screen. I can poke and run my fingers along the touch screen and see a fallow line and dot animations but that's it. I am able to reset and it just takes me to my login of course. Screen saver is visible aswell. Any idea what to do or should I give geek squad a visit (bought from Best buy with no warranty.. oops)

HP x360 Spectre Windows Hello No Longer Working

Thanks for the suggestion. For reference (for people coming after me trying to find a solution), the steps Lee is suggesting are as follows:

• Device Security > Security Processor Details > Security Processor Troubleshooting > Clear TPM

Appreciate the help, Lee, but resetting the TPM using the process above didn't work. All it did was make me reset my PIN and sign in again via my Microsoft account. As I mentioned in my initial post, I have an HP Spectre
x360 Convertible 13-ae0xx, so I've been using the drivers found here:

Also as I mentioned, the latest drivers are installed - that's always my first go-to solution (other than turning it off and on again! ).

Any other suggestions?

I have Windows 10 on my HP Spectre. Used File Backup fine, but can't find how, step-by-step to do a complete system image backup?
