Discus and support HPC Question in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; I want to use C++ to develop HPC SDK, but when I call RequiredNodes, there is only get_RequiredNodes instead of put_RequiredNodes.     HPC Question


    I want to use C++ to develop HPC SDK, but when I call RequiredNodes, there is only get_RequiredNodes instead of put_RequiredNodes. How should I set the nodes?

    WMDC on Server 2008 HPC

    Windows Media Player is not installed. I am using REAL PLAYER for my media player and it works fine. Desktop Experience is not on HPC but is on Server 2008.

    Without Desktop Experience WMP is not there, Aero won't install, themes doesn't work etc.

    I am using HPC because it is faster and seems to work better than Server 2008.

    HPC Question

    HPC Pack 2016 - Failing to launch on AWS

    Hi

    I have successfully build HPC 2016 a few months back for testing purposes on VMs locally. We now want to build actual cluster on AWS.

    We follow the guidelines listed
    here    . We are experiencing problems that we have not encountered before. The first being the installer warning that the account is not a domain account. The account we are installing from is a domain account that is part of the Domain Admin group.

    Continuing and completing the installation it appears that HPC Job Manager runs when launched with Administrator Privileges. When running as a user (who was added as a cluster user - also a domain account) we get error shown below as Error A.

    If I right-click and runs as a different user but add the same credentials again, I am able to launch the HPC Job Manager. Not sure why this is happening. Any one else experiencing this?
