Windows 10: HPs uncompatible with Windows 10

I'm not a geek. I don't use exact terminology. Set up, customized = turn on, answer questions, add my stuff. Boot up time was 8 minutes from the get, except maybe first time I pushed power button, but def before I added my stuff. I took it back as advised by Best Buy and was given a refund. Even though they "provided the service" of online diagnostic (accessing my computer for an hour and doing whatever), they refunded that fee also. And ya, even though it was brand new out of the box and a few days old, they charge for it. And ya, my first question was why would my brand new computer need diagnosing in the first place, let alone for a fee. Apparently, that's their go-to procedure.

Now that I can't find what I want, I'm really wishing that computer would have worked out: 2 in 1 15.6", Intel Core i7, 16 GB mem, 1TB hard drive (terms which have been explained to me and I sorta get). I'm returning a Lenovo that came today because I need a right hand numbers keyboard....it had everything else but, even a 256 GB SSD. I'm online trying to find one with all these features for maybe up to $1400. Not having any luck.

 

What is this missing that you would want?

I guess I'm stuck on wanting it to be a 2 in 1...360 degree lid. I broke my current Asus lid hinge twice, so....for preventative reasons kinda bent on having that. My husband says way more options if let go of that criteria, but...

It is 2 in 1, but I notice it is missing the numberic keypad.

Don't get too hung up on exact specs. There is no noticeable difference, especially to a non-nerd, in a sixth generation i7 to a seventh. If you can get a six gen one for less money, there's no reason to avoid it.
