Windows 10: HTML document is not displayed properly

I have saved an HTML document I made on my computer. Windows 10 home I can open this document on my computer and check it. However, when I send it as an attachment on an email the recipient cannot see its contents. It can open it but the contents are not displayed. I've tried it with different emails I have Google, Yahoo, Hotmail and when I open the HTML attachment the contents are not displayed. You cannot see the contents of the HTML attachment. The only you see is just an icon. Why is that?

DOCX Document is Not Displaying Properly

Hi, my professor has Word 2016 and I have WPS Writer. I recently sent in a document that I made in WPS Writer and my teacher got it and displayed it in Word 2016. Anyway, the document is not displaying properly for her and as a result I lost some points.
I recently got the opportunity to resubmit it. What can I do to ensure the document displays like it should? Should I make it read only, should I take a screenshot of it then paste the image into the word program and then save it as docx? Bare in mind I cannot
get Word 2016 right now, and my professor had told me she will only accept docx documents and she will only use Word 2016. Do you have any suggestions?

Yes, a web page can be saved as a Word document. Here's how:

• Navigate to the page that you want to save as a
  Word document.
• Save the web page as HTML.
• Open the web page in Microsoft Word. You should now have an .htm or
  an .html file.
• Go to the File Menu and choose Save As.
  Save it as docx.

To properly isolate and clarify the issue, we need additional information:

• When you say it is not completely displayed, was it outside of the borderline?
  
• Are there any inserted pictures on you document?
• Did you set a margin?
• Are you using a PC or a phone?
