  2. The laptop is AMD APU AMD GPU. The desktop is AMD CPU NVidia graphics. I had originally just upgraded Windows 10 when the Fall update came down the pipe. Outlook worked fine after that. I had a few other glitches though, duplicate folders for my user folders. Documents, Pictures, etc. I had moved the locations and the update restored the original folders and left my moved locations in the mix. Trying to move the folders again coughed up some weird message alone the lines of if you do this you can't undo it or change it. I just left it like that. Some other things cropped up so I decided to just clean install the FU. That's when things went south on me. I'm reinstalling office, again, after doing an uninstall. This time I'm going with the 32 bit version from a freshly downloaded ISO. Up until now I've been running setup64. Pulling at straws now. If that doesn't work I'll try disabling add ins I guess?

So are you saying the 32 bit is fine and it was the 64 bit that was causing the weirdness?

  5. Yes, it would appear so. Complacency on my part, I guess. Always worked in the past so why not now? 64 bit version of Windows so why not the 64 bit version of office? See the thing is if you just run setup from the root of the ISO, you just get 32 bit. It never asks if you want to install the 64 bit version. To get that you have to go into the office folder and run setup64. Which has just become habit for me. I always just mount the ISO and I have autorun turned off. Live and learn.
