  1. HTTPS website issue on IE11 with Windows 10 Pro

    Hi Team,

We have an issue while acessing HTTPS websites in IE11 with Windows 10 Pro. It throws an error with "403 Forbidden" nginx/1.10.3. However it works with firefox and Chrome in Win 10 Pro but not with IE.

It works in IE11 with Windwos 7 as well. Please guide me if you have any idea about this. Thanks in advance!

    Thanks & Regards,

    Senthil

Some websites not working with IE11 on Windows 10

I have a similar problem. I have IE11 with Windows 10. I am trying to make IE the default browser, but when I do the steps above IE is not listed in my browsers. I only have Edge & Mozilla. However I use IE everyday from the task bar. It is also NOT
listed under uninstall/install in control panel programs. So I can't repair it.

It's good that you're not experiencing any issues. Unfortunately many folks are, a quick Google search will show the same info im offering the OP.

    Heres a couple examples:

    Here

    Here

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

IE11 won't connect- Shows 'res://ieframe.dll/dnserror.htm' in the address bar

    Hi Deepika

    My responses below yours:

    • Does this issue persists when accessing any particular website?

Yes, no website page will open on my upgraded Windows 10 laptop in IE11. Windows Edge works fine.
    • Have you made any changes to the operating system prior to this issue?

My Windows 7 laptop was upgraded to Windows 10 which introduced Edge and IE11
    • Are you using wired/ wireless internet connection?

      I am using wireless connectivity
    • What are the troubleshooting steps you have tried in resolving the issue?

I have followed all of the steps that were advised in this post.

    Thanks and regards
