Onrdrive and hyperlinks in pdfs

I have moved pdfs onto Onedrive into folders. The documents have hyperlinks/bookmarks which work fine as long as they point to places within the subject document. If have a hyperlink to another document,, then the hyperlink to the other document does not
work, while if on my PC everything is fine.

The folder structure is identical to my PC on One drive. I have even tried hyperbase and relative addresses.

Any suggestions please?

I apologize for delayed response.

I suggest you to open the PDF files with Internet Explorer in Edge to view the hyperlinks and check if it helps.

Microsoft Edge has built-in Internet Explorer feature and thus changes made to the settings in Internet Explorer will reflect in Edge too. Follow below steps:

1. Open the PDF file with Edge and click on three dot icon (More Actions) on top right of the Edge browser.

2. Select the option 'Open with the Internet Explorer' from the drop down.

SOLVED

My problem was not that the links would not show up as underlined. They would, but they would not open the link when I clicked.

SOLVED: Simply refresh the page (the button left of the home icon) before you click on the hyperlink. Do this even if you have just launched the .pdf. Also, keep the SHIFT-CTRL keys pressed to click on the hyperlink - this will open the link in a new
tab.

For me, hyperlinks worked erratically in Edge PDFs when I tried finding it on a page using CTRL-F or the search button, with the links failing a majority of the time. This was a long document with many hyperlinks, so finding the hyperlink using the CTRL-F
was important to me. Hitting the refresh button once and then clicking on the hyperlink did the trick. Every time.
