  2. Accidentally changed screenshot save location as D drive

My ssd is slowly filling up so as a way to free up a little bit of space I thought I'd move the screenshot folder to my D drive(which is a hard drive). But when doing this, instead of selecting a folder I selected the drive itself. So now all the screenshots
are making a mess of my drive and I don't no how to make the screenshots save to a folder.

Accidentally changed screenshot save location as D drive

    Hi ThilankaDR

Open the Registry Editor again, it will still be on the same page

Double click {B7BEDE81-DF94-4682-A7D8-57A52620B86F} in the right hand pane and set its value date this this, then click OK

    %USERPROFILE%\Pictures\Screenshots

Close the Registry Editor and restart (not shut down) your PC

That will restore your screenshots folder to its original position, if you like you can move it again, just remember to specify a folder like D:\Screenshots in the location box . . .

i accidentally changed the location of my screenshots directly to the D drive and not a folder

Vista Ultimate - 'User' Folder Location

    No tried that.

Can copy the entire folder to D; but Windows still points to C as the location. Can change personal folders location to a folder on D;, but this still leaves hidden files etc on C;. Thus meaning there are 2 Users folders. Have managed to change the Public folder location to D;, with some registry tweaks, but this doesnt seem to work for the entire folder.

    any more suggestions
