    I Am At My Wit's End


    After digging through countless forums and help boards I cannot filter through or find anything relevant to my current situation.

    I got a brand new HP laptop with Windows 10 a few days ago and set up a few things, nothing much. Just Steam, Tf2, Zoom, Minecraft, and a couple other random games along with a few image and sound downloads. Upon rebooting my computer for the second time (and every time thereafter), everything except for my Steam games, Steam, Google Chrome, and Minecraft are deleted entirely. All of the custom files associated with those (Optifine and custom Tf2 assets) are intact and work normally. Furthermore all of the default settings for my Steam games are restored and all of my system settings like default browser and display settings are reset.

    For the love of God or whatever divine force this OS runs on, please help me figure out how to make my laptop function.

    At my wits end with IPv4 connection issue.... HELP!

    I suggest setting the DNS to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 (Cloudflare)

    Then reboot just to make sure everything is reset.

    I have a app on my phone to control my router. I have the parental controls turned off. Always keep that off as well. Thanks for the suggestion though.
