Windows 10: I am being asked for my PIN to sign in but I dont remember it as I usually use facial...

I have woke up and gone to log into my surface laptop and it automatically has a message saying I have entered my pin wrong too many times so I cannot use facial recognition. I haven't even touched the laptop since I used it last night so that's weird. Anyway I have entered the challenge phrase and then it asks me for the PIN, which I don't remember! There is no "forgot my password" option and I have tried SHIFT, POWER BUTTON, RELEASE and nothing happens. I have also tried this with the VOLUME keys and still nothing. This is my uni laptop and all my assignments I need ASAP are on this laptop

Surface Pro Facial Recognition not working, asking for Pin, but Pin never provided

He doesn't remember being asked for either a Pin or PWD during setup. He said the setup just took him thru to Facial Rec. Is it possible to recover or reset it?

No. I have only ever used facial recognition or my pin. I’m sure I have a password but I dont remember it.

• Open Settings.
• Select Accounts.

• Click the Add button for the PIN and set your PIN.
• Do the same for the Windows Hello.
