Windows 10: I am DONE - D O N E - With Windows

After 25+ years of using Windows, I am DONE - D O N E! The Windows OS is in serious need of a complete overhaul. It's too messy and almost impossible to troubleshoot now. You have group policies, security settings, registry, files, etc, etc, etc. I just had an issue where I could not map drives on my main Windows machine and I re-installed Windows from scratch after spending weeks trying to fix it. Same issue after re-install. So after spending two more weeks working on it, I found out it was related to 1 group policy setting denying drive mapping. I literally spent over 4 weeks trying to fix

My Dell laptop developed HDD issues a while back after I had upgraded it from Win 8.1 to win10. I had to buy a new Hdd n reinstall the Win10 but my software person didn't reinstall my laptop's win10 from MS server but got me a Win10 pro from a network that
i'm not a part of. I was unaware of all these things until the OS started asking to be activated. But my laptop had a genuine windows os before I had to change the hdd. I learnt I could still reinstall my original windows10 by downloading from the Ms server.
I have downloaded the ISO from Microsoft website unto my system but I don't know what to do next. I'm wondering if ican just run that directly and if it would recognize my hardware as one which is re`g`i```````````tered on the server and reinstall my original
win 10 and still retain my files/documents or if I should backup my files, create a bootable usb from the iso image and then do a clean install.

Win 10 - Folder and files in C:\Windows\Temp\NC5pBB

Thank you for the suggestions.

To answer your question as to what happened when this was first seen,

• updated Win10 with the anniversary update
• my antivirus notified about a C:\Windows\Temp\tmp00007eb1\tmp00000000 file, which was quarantined and subsequently I deleted through the antivirus

Now I see that there is a C:\Windows\Temp\tmp00007eb1\tmp00000000 file there, which the antivirus says is clean and I can delete, but I cannot delete the C:\Windows\Temp\tmp00007eb1\ folder!

From your suggestions:

1. Run the sfc /scannow command

It came back with:

W i n d o w s R e s o u r c e P r o t e c t i o n d i d n o t f i n d a n y i n t e g r i t y v i o l a t i o n s .

2. Rebooted

I was able to delete the NC5pBB folder and all its contents.

I was not able to delete the tmp00007eb1 folder

I could delete the tmp00000000 file

3. Did a clean boot

I was able to delete the NC5pBB folder and all its contents.

I was not able to delete the tmp00007eb1 folder

I could delete the tmp00000000 file

4. Did a regular boot

The NC5pBB folder came back, with a bunch of contents similar to the original post.

I was able to delete the folder and its contents.

The tmp00000000 file came back and I was able to delete it.

I was not able to delete the tmp00007eb1 folder.

Do you have any other suggestions?

What program is doing this?

I do not have a printer on the computer we do not own a 3d printer, and the one printer in the house is not wireless. I do not even have an internet connection anymore. But still managing to send data. I have been reading windows.dll files and found this
