Windows 10: i am getting 0x80070424 error while trying to update

as usual, i tried googling

and tried to make use of the first search result from the web https://www.auslogics.com/en/articles/fixing-error-code-0x80073712-on-windows-10/

i have my doubts with the legitimacy of the method .

I've tried the previous method suggested with the "services.msc" thing, but still get the same error info.
