Windows 10: I am not able to view Network Status

Hello,

I am not able to view network status. It is showing a dashed line. So consequently I think I am also not able to view wifi icon(Cannot use wifi anyhow) in the action center. I have uninstalled and then again installed wifi driver. And also tried to update the driver, but nothing worked.

Please help!

  Are you able to access other icons on the task bar?
  
• 
  Did you turned off, system icon?
  

This might occur when the system icon is turned off.

I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• 
  Type Settings in the search area on the task bar and select
  Settings.
  
• 
  Select the System option.
  
• 
  Select Notification and action center.
  
• 
  Select Turn on/off system icon.
  
• 
  Turn on the icon which you want to view on your status bar.

cannot view status of active networks

Yes, I've been able to leave and join my homegroup. I have full access to the internet and homegroup. Everything seems to be 'normal'. But in network and sharing control panel I'm still listed as having no internet connection and no homegroup status is shown,

 

Network Printer NOT RECOGNIZED!

  Are you able to view your printer on your network location?
  

I would suggest you to try running Printer troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

  Type troubleshooting in the
  Search area on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Click on View all on the left panel of the Troubleshooting Windows.
  
• 
  Select Printer.
  
• 
  Follow the on screen instruction.
