Windows 10: I AM REALLY HAPPY WITH ASUS VIVOBOOK 15 R542UQ-DM153 INTEL CORE I5 7200U NVIDIA 940MX 2GB...

I am really happy with my asus laptop , i can do all research projects and i play games , when i feel sad and bore .

All most all the works i am using this laptop . No hardware issues , No BSOD issues .

On 31-01-2019 , laptop celebrated first birthday


Yesterday i played NASCAR HEAT 3 on intel HD graphics 620 1GB , on medium settings while playing game , i checked percentage of intel GPU usage , it was 100%, once i closed the game after 20 minutes , with in 3 seconds it came to 1%.


Again i configured the game to use 940MX , on high medium settings i checked percentage of Nvidia GPU usage , it was 99%, once iclosed the game , with in 4 seconds it came to 1%.


I am very lucky using this laptop , because it will work when i give instructions , actually i modified certain settings as per research documents are available in docs.microsoft.com.


Normally i read the documents on docs.microsoft.com , i write feedback , i ask questions there also, authors will reply my queries.


I would recommend to read the documents published by microosft team members and voluntery member.


I say thanks to those team members and the asus laptop motherboard design members and other members.


I shared many posts , by searching online , gathered informations , and i posted here , so i say to thanks to all authors for originally posted their own websites or reputed websites

And i would like to say thanks to users those are liked my posts , given upvotes and replied to my questions - discussions .

in my personal opinion. DON'T buy a Lenovo Legion Y520

i am using asus vivobook 15 R542UQ-DM153 bpought on 31-01-2018 , with intel i5 7200u nvidia 940mx 2GB vram GDDR5 with 8GB ram running windows 10 enterprise 64bit 1803 built no17134.441 , running smoot.

added samsung evo 860 M.2 SSD 250GB as primay boot drive . still no issues , no bsod , i dont know other users feedback ,

 

windows slow performance

i have an asus vivobook s15 R542uq with intel i5 8th gen processor and 2 gb nvidia GeForce 940mx graphics.

 

ASUS VIVOBOOK 15 R542UQ-DM153 ( bios model X542UQ ) SAFEMODE OPTION IN WINDOWS 10

1)All the windows 10 desktops and laptops are able to boot directly to safe mode immediately after pressing F8button in the keyboard after powered on.

2) If you want to troubleshoot the drivers and hardware, safe mode is useful.

3) Moreover, if windows gets some problems comes with BSOD or cant able to boot as normal mode, then we can use LAST KNOWN GOOD CONFIGURATION

4) I have modified the windows settings on two devices ( desktop and laptop) so that I can able to boot either Normal or safe mode immediately after powered-on the device.
