Windows 10: I am unable to keep Memory Integrity turned on or run WSL2

I have a brand new Lenovo notebook with an AMD Ryzen 5 processor. I have AMD-V enabled in the BIOS. When I turn on Memory Integrity it lets me but says I need to reboot. After a reboot it is still disabled.I don't get any warnings about incompatible drivers.I think related to this, I cannot get WSL 2 to run. Systeminfo tells me yes on all the Hyper-V settings. wsl --install and wsl --update appear to run successfully. I have the correct optional features enabled. I've tried the whole disable/reboot/enable/reboot scenario multiple times.Task Manager shows virtualization is enabled in the

unable to turn on memory integrity and it suggests a incompatible driver but no driver is listed as incompatible

 

WSL2 for windows

I have failed into installing WSL for Windows. I have read here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win.../install-win10 how to do it, and at step 4:

1. Download the latest package:
   
   • WSL2 Linux kernel update package for x64 machines

   If you're using an ARM64 machine, please download the ARM64 package instead. If you're not sure what kind of machine you have, open Command Prompt or PowerShell and enter: systeminfo | find "System Type".

2. Run the update package downloaded in the previous step. (Double-click to run - you will be prompted for elevated permissions, select ‘yes’ to approve this installation.)

Memory Integrity option cannot be turned off

I am unable to turn off the Memory Integrity option for some reason.
I even followed the steps below and rebooted, still keeps on enabling itself.

Even try these settings to disable Credential Guard here.

Even reinstalled Windows 10 by wiping out all the partitions starting from scratch. Still no luck.
Think this is a bug in v1809.

Before the complete reinstallation, I did enable the VBS settings with UEFI Lock features under the Group Policy.
But I am stumped as to why even after a reinstall I cannot disable the Memory Integrity option.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
