Windows 10: I am unable to sign in in my desktop.

Hello,


I have me and my brother as Windows account user in my desktop. I restarted the PC yesterday and after that, there is message coming that the PC is unlock.

I tried each sign in option and there was no success.

I am attaching the screenshot for that. I searched online but didn't find a solution except this:

But this is for Windows 7. I am not sure how should I process with Windows 10.


Any help will be really appreciable.

Surface pro issue- Unable to Sign-in

Kindly reply to the following questions to better understand your query.

1. Do you mean that you are unable to sign in to your User Account?

2. If yes, are you using a Microsoft Account or a local account?

However, I would suggest you try using the On-screen keyboard. Follow the steps below.

1. Click on the ease of access icon and then select On-screen Keyboard.

2. If you are able to login using the on screen keyboard. You need to update your drivers in the Device Manager. Follow the steps.

• Press Windows key + R key to open run command. Type "devmgmt.msc" and click
  Enter.
• 
  Expand Keyboard.
  
• 
  Right-click on the Keyboard and select
  Update Driver Software
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check.
  

If you are unable to sign in to Microsoft account, you may recover your password by click on the link below and following the mentioned steps.

Can't sign in to desktop goes to admin window

Hi Timothy,

There are a lot of different reasons why we are unable to sign in.

For us to properly isolate the issue and provide an appropriate resolution, we would like to know the following:

• Can you confirm that you were trying to sign in to a desktop computer?
• Did you receive any error messages when signing in?
• Can you elaborate what you meant by "desktop goes to admin window when you sign in"?
• Can you send us a screenshot of the admin window?

 

windows 10 unable to sign in


Today i was just adding a folder to my shared vpn and removed the wrong account from the list (being mine) the admin account. It wouldn't let me do anything really so i went to restart my pc and it keeps saying wrong password and won't let me sign in. Sorry i know this is a reallllly silly thing to do but can anyone suggest anything that might work? Thankyou
