Windows 10: I attempted to use all versions of Bitlocker

I wanted to say that I have used windows vista to encrypt drives Vista doesn’t have the full Bitlocker to go capabilities as it can only open Bitlocker volumes with FAT32 file system. NTFS won’t work. I have also used windows 7s Bitlocker tool to encrypt drives and I have had no issues with them. One thing I noticed is that Bitlocker takes a long time to encrypt and even longer if you’re encrypting large drives. It took me nearly three days to encrypt a game drive with 8TB. Windows 8.1 also has bitlocker capabilities and they all work together. The only thing I found is that windows 10 canno

We suggest doing the following steps again to resolve the issue. To complete the procedure, make sure that you have the following information:

• You must be able to provide administrative credentials.
• The drive must be BitLocker-protected.

To suspend BitLocker Drive Encryption on an operating system drive, please follow the steps below:

• Click Start, click Control Panel, click
  System and Security, and then click BitLocker Drive Encryption.
• Click Suspend Protection for the operating system drive.
• A message is displayed, informing you that your data will not be protected while BitLocker is suspended and asking if you want to suspend BitLocker Drive Encryption.
  
• Click Yes to continue and suspend BitLocker on the drive.
