Windows 10: I can install only Windows Defender updates. Can't install Cumulative updates at all

Please help me. I want to install the KB4549951 and KB4550945 cumulative updates, but I can't install them due to the error 0x800f081f. I tried resetting Net Framework and it didn't work. Tried an sfc scan and the dism one, and these didn't solve the issue as well. Are there more solutions than these ones? or I should just reinstall my Windows 10 Pro?

Maybe try with the Windows update mini-tool, found here http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...dows-10-automatic-updates-and-spyware.218745/ , thanks to Mussels. it installed perfectly for me last night.

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240

 

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
