Windows 10: I can no longer link my phone to my laptop. Please help me

My phone was previously connected to my laptop for months for transferring pictures. Now, when I try to do it by going to photos on my laptop and pressing on "import", my phone isn't showing up. I have tried different ports, different UBS cables, restarting my phone & laptop, taking Bluetooth off and putting it back on, and unlinking and relinking my phone to my laptop but nothing works. It says on my phone that they are linked but when I try to do it, it just won't show up. Why is it not working anymore and what can I do to rectify it? I really need to get it resolved because I upload

Unfortunately not working with me. Using Lenovo Ideapad 5 and Samsung ZFlip android on Win 11. Annoying as hell since this app was a great step towards increase productivity. Apparently still buggy.

I've tried your suggestion a couple of times plus a full uninstall and reinstall on both phone and Surface Book. It has not worked but thank you for your feedback.

 

Can't "Link to Wndows"

Thanks so much. I will certainly follow your tutorial in the future. I think resetting did the trick, and I was also able to set a pin code. Question. I am confused about one ongoing step: "Go to www.aka.ms/addComputer" in your browser." A search for this, and other similar url's suggested in the Phone LInk setup always ends up the same way, with a trip to nowhere.

Clicking in those types of links end up in a blank tab
