    I can no longer use my HP Solution Center to do scans from my computer.


    I can no longer do scans from my computer as my HP Solutions Center will open. I can go to my printer and scan, I can print from my computer but I CANNOT do scans. This only happened in the past few days. Contacted HP and they informed me that Windows updates have probably caused this problem. How can I fix it?

    HP Photosmart C4480 Solutions Center will not work with Windows 10

    I have tried all of the suggestions and unfortunately they did not help.

    I did, however, discover that although I can no longer scan through the HP Solutions Center, I can scan using the windows 10 scan app with my printer. It is very basic but usable.

    I have a HP Deskjet F4280 All-in-one printer.

    I want to use the HP Solution Center software when I scan documents.

    I have a new computer with Windows 10.

    My printer is installed on this new computer.

    How ever the HP Solution Center software is not on the new computer.

    HP said "to find the HP Solution Center Software go to Windows.

    Installs with the HP full feature Windows Driver for multifunctional printers.

    Search for Solution Center to find and open software."

    I have done my best to find this on the Windows web site and do not see it.

    I only want to use the HP Solution Center when I scan documents on my HP Deskjet F4280 All-in-One printer.

    I need to download the software do you know the Windows download name for this?

    Hi,

    It is possible that the Control folder access is enabled that is why its blocking the access to user folders when scanning with HP Solution Center. To resolve your issue, we suggest that you follow the steps in this
    article to disable the allow a blocked app in Windows Defender Security Center.

    Keep us posted if you need additional help.
